Utter nonsense. Rarely will you see an MMA fighter who slurs his words. In boxing? All the time.
1. That's largely because MMA is still fairly young a lot of fighters really haven't reached that point yet. Even from the relatively small roster of previous gen UFC fighters there are top names slurring: Chuck, Miller, Rampage. Think of it the UFC only had around 200 fighters in its books back then and there's three draws out of those 200 who are going down hill.
2. Boxing is just bigger. By shear odds we're going to see more people get brain damage. That doesn't mean it's more common, just that there's a wider pool of people who can get it.
nah, no one has died in the octagon yet. the boxing ring has seen many deaths. boxers have generally better chins than mma fighters

Around 6 people have died in MMA.
Unless you mean the UFC which only has around 300-400 fighters at any one time. It would be like taking 300 pro boxers and saying no one dies in boxing because no one in that group of 300 died.
UFC is mainly for hillbilly ass dudes who couldnt cut it defensively enough in boxing or thye kept getting knocked out so they went over to that "sport" where the mediocre can fight the other mediocre and look decent.Just know they couldnt cut it in boxing and they fight like drunken indiots so it suits them.
If i grew up on Taw Kwon Do or Muay Thai why the hell would i care about making in to boxing?
Thats like oh since you couldnt cut it in Rugby now you are in Football, because if i grew up on Football idc about Rugby.
May be in small promotions you'll see guys that are wannabe boxers, but most have grown up in a combat sport other than boxing and MMA is the avenue where they can display their skills and unlike Olympics get paid and dont depend on politics of being selected on the squad etc.
The list is endless,,,, UFC at least delivers meaningful title fights every time,,
I think he was implying that people are ignorant to call UFC a sport, whereas it is MMA thats the sport and UFC a brand within it. Kinda like calling FIFA a sport.
But you are right the match ups are just awesome in MMA.

Your wrong not a bot,,, but yeah I see your point mma is the sport, but no matter what organization they always seem to put on the best fights..
Boxing literally isn't a sport anymore, just an entertainment show..
It's pathetic how none of the major fights get made
Yeah man, you're totally right. It was freaking awesome when Zuffa made all those super fights. Champ vs Champ. Silva vs GSP, Silva vs Jones, Jones vs Cain, Fedor vs Brock, Rousey vs Cyborg, Aldo vs Pettis. Zuffa really knows how to put on those big fights fans want.
