I knew some idiot would say that crap..

Those super fights you name involve dream fights between 2 different division completely separated by 10 or more pounds.. It isn't welter going to jr mid, it's welter going middle, it's like Floyd going to serg, or canelo going to ward,
GPS-silva is a 15 lb difference in weight not 7 lbs
Fedor and cyborg aren't even in UFC and the only true super fights that should have been made is gsp/silva, silva/jones, But at least they have all fought their top contenders repeatedly

Boxing can't even make guys in the same division fighting, and you have to be a complete ****** to think boxing puts on better fights than UFC

    Look at just the divisions

    Welter we have no
    Bradley Floyd
    Manny Floyd
    Thurman porter
    Broner Kahn

    Middleweight
    Ggg serg
    Serg quillen

How about kovolev and Stevenson or rigo mares

UFC doesn't protect it's cash cows...
Gsp year long layoff comes back and fights the top 3 guys in his division condit, Diaz, and Hendricks
Lesner comes back after career threatening illness and fights the top guys Darwin and Cain
Serg comes back after an injury and fights an undersized guy who is 1-2 at lower weight in his last 3, yet that's what boxing gives us as a title fights, and we are so starved for good fights that this is actually considered a big fight..

Let me know next time UFC has a champ defend against a guy that is 1-2 in his last 3 and is moving up in weight for the first time, and hasn't beaten a top guy in years,,,

You have gone full ****** if you think boxing puts on better fights... Lmao

And you show your troll colors by trashing UFC yet must be big enough fan to rattle off a bunch of super fights you wanted them to make...

Don't see how you can say it sucks,,, yes the grappling kinda sucks when guys are just holding guys down so they chew up the clock and win on points, but the same thing happens in boxing when you have guys in their bike all night looking to take the least amount of risk.. How many boring 12 rounds decisions have their been in recent years or even the last 30'years,, happens all the time...

Original excitement didn't come from 2 wrestlers with ****ty chins brawling,, it came from taking people from different disciplines and having a fight in a cage where you can do whatever... Slowly over the years everyone has learned stand up and ground game..
Boxing isn't as used as much because the stance is easy targets for takedowns and you can't kick very well out of it, that's why most guys square up.. Slowly some guys are using the jab and body shots and even shoulder roll..

And thinking these guys have bad chins is crazy,, you do realize they hit with 4oz gloves... I would love to see how good boxers chins are if they were fighting in 4oz gloves..

I'm a bigger boxing fan than a mma fan, but hate went people talk crap about mma like it sucks, yet it has it's crap together better than boxing

Just name me one division in boxing in 2014 where the best 2 guys in a division are going to fight each other

Liz Carmouche had zero wins over opponents with winning records. You're getting owned and calling me a troll because I actually understand mma.

oh and Cyborg and Fedor had contracts with ZUFFA LLC. Owned again. Only a true zuffa shill would actually accuse someone of being a fan of a company for following the FIGHTERS. Here's a secret bud, most UFC fighters INCLUDING GSP cant stand the company they work for. The idiocy for someone to think they have to a fan of a PRIVATE company to like the fighters is mind blowing.

The amount of ball licking you do of ZUFFA I hope to god you're an employee. It's just too sad for me think there is someone who has no financial incentive but cheer leads for a private company on their own free will.

UFC IS NOT A SPORT. It is NOTHING but a private company.

Boxing is worse because they let you recover after you get concussed.

In mma its all over once you get concussed.

              That is the major difference.

That is an interesting read. I enjoy brutal boxing action but I always cringe the way the MMA guys wallop a downed KO'd opponent. Looks like the savages on a damn LiveLeak video. They probably should give a count in those cases. I've always liked how KO specialist Mark Hunt often handles it. he'd score the blow and often walk away, knowing the guy was done. A civilized KO - good stuff.

are you serious? several people have died in mma, the last one was just a month ago.

not in big shows but it has been well publicized regardless.

you're off base. Every single match was talked about, by the fighters themselves and the promotion as happening. Jones has said he is moving to heavyweight. Pettis is the same weight as Aldo, except Aldo cuts more weight. Brock Vs Fedor is a Heavyweight fight. Anderson Silva competed in pride at a lower weight winning the shooto 168 belt. Ronda fought over half her career at 145 including all her amateur fights. So what the f-ck are you LOL'ing about?

Also, Every fighter I mentioned was signed by SAME promoter. INCLUDING Fedor and Cyborg. Please tell me when those boxers all had the same promoter. I will be waiting.
