All of the ducks throughout boxing history must have tears in their eyes.
Yeah man, we'd have to take this to the History forum and see if there any ducks this advanced in the 1940's and ****. I'm sure the mob probably had some advanced schemes.

IMO Kovalev is a more winnable fight than Hopkins, who I assume Stevenson will fight. Hopkins will not only beat him, he will make him look bad, school him and drop his hype quicker than Kovalev would. Kovalev is more dangerous, one punch guy. Hopkins is more skilled and riskier because he's so old, it is looked at as a big deal if you lose to him. This will be Hopkins-Tarver all over again if it happens.

Kovalev will run into some one who can take a punch decently and lose. Let's face it, Campillo and Sillakh were chinny to start, however I felt if Sillakh could survive he could win and I picked him to win but too bad he was chinnier than I thought.

As a Hopkins fan first, I prefer Hopkins beating Stevenson's hype down rather than Kovalev, so I am biased. As far as Adonis and Kovalev, I don't like either fighter. Hopefully Ward fights and defeats Kovalev.

As far as signing with Haymon goes, isn't that something that just about every fighter is doing now? There's been like 4-5 big signings lately. It appears that more boxers want the career high paydays and TV dates that come with Haymon as your adviser.

            Really there is not many

            I can't think of any.

Maybe Ray Robinson "I'm too pretty to fight Burley".

The Mob didn't give a **** really as long as they got a fast dollar or two.

I actually removed you 4 weeks ago. Your posts in the arcade forum were growing on me, so I took you off ignore. Plus, you were actually having serious discussions with me.

Have seen Infamous Second Son? Game is pretty fun. A little short of great, but solid nonetheless.

The deal to sign Adonis to a 2 fight deal, which was Fonfara and Kovalev, was agreed to by GYM and Adonis in January. HBO didn't have him sign it at the that time, which gave Al Haymon his opening. Showtime is offering more money and beating Hopkins for more money then he would have got for Kovalev, Adonis did what every fighter would do. I place most of the blame on HBO at this time.

What if Hopkins loses to Shumonev? I'm Hopkins biggest fan but let's not be so automatic about this Hopkins is 49 years old after all. On paper Hopkins should win, just saying 49 is 49.

Shumonev is with Al Haymon too. Guess it's a win win for Haymon.

That's true, the inevitable could happen and he looks old. I think it's worth the gamble for the difference in $$$.
