Stevenson-Kovalev in jeopardy

Ask yourself a question, who needs who more? Does Kovalev need Stevenson, or does Stevenson need Kovalev? Clearly Stevenson is holding the right cards with Haymon on his side so he can demand the type of money needed to provide for him and his family. Now Kovalev is left holding his di#@ in his hand after he knocks out Agnew. Stevenson will fight fonfara, bhop, then cash out with Jean Pascal regardless of if he beats Hopkins or not.

Its pretty obvious Stevenson is sh|t scared of Kovalev and doesn't want no part of him lol, he's afraid Sergey is gonna pimp out his poor little arse

If Stevenson had actually wanted Kovalev that's the fight we could be talking about right now and you know it's worth more than Fonfara.
Now he's going to run over to Shotime and get hugged out of his title by old B-Hop instead.

All aboard the SS Showtime! We'll cross the seas to a land called '**** the fans' where no Russians or Pinoys dwell.
Originally posted by cupcrazy01 View PostFrom a fan standpoint, the pressure is on Stevenson to take less money to stay with HBO so the Kovalev fight can be made. If he chooses a few hundred thousand dollars to go to Showtime and kill that fight, he is ducking Kovalev. Clearly. However, how bound to HBO is Kovalev? This may be a Showtime plan to get the Stevenson-Kovalev fight in 2015. Stranger things have happened.

(I'm not even a HBO subscriber, my brother is, not because of boxing. I started my SHO subscription last year. Regular fights are extremely rare, I came to find out.)

So many personal bankers sit on NSB. Where did all the fans go?

Money being used as a scapegoat/easy out. If you're scared, say you're scared. Adonis wants no part of kovalev
