From what I heard from a couple of guys in the mix is that Diaz was not happy with Solis shape and did not want him to fight like that, Oner had promoted the fight already and wanted it to go on; regardless all the blame is on the fat boy for showing no interest in getting in shape.

Commentary team on boxnation mentioned this. They said something along the lines of the team walking out on Solis if he didn't make an effort to get in shape.

No kidding man, you can see that Solis has GREAT potential but to think you can come in as an athlete in schite shape and win is just a disgrace to the sport first, and secondly to yourself as a professional athlete.

Solis has himself to blame. Oner has done well to just get this fat underachiever in the ring. Solis prices himself out against opponents like Adamek, so if it's a money issue, he could be to blame as well. As usual, Oner is the usual target.

Absolutely pathetic, and people still blame Oner for this? He's supposed to lose money and drop the show because Solis is too fat and his trainer isn't good enough to motivate him to train? What a sorry excuse for a "pro" boxing team. Diaz should be ashamed. Oner should drop the dead weight that is Solis.

To be fair he does carry a lot of his fat on his nose, so it doesn't affect him as much.
