Canelo would probably struggle against the top guys in the middleweight division, I dont think that he is big enough.

I cant believe a couple of people are saying that he will beat GGG.

Maybe he can beat GGG in a year or so when age may catch up with GGG. GGG has been looking somewhat sluggish even against Curtis Stevens in spots and in his last fight. Canelo on the other hand looked like an explosive beast against Angulo. Styles make fights so you never know. Plus GGG has been taking a break to mourn his father's death so you have to take that into account.

Maybe GGG has also been distracted by the ill health of his father as of late.

Canelo looked explosive against a walking heavy bag named Angulo and suddenly he is p4p material again?

Yes styles make fights and I dont think Canelo would be able to deal with GGG's work rate as he has no stamina and then we add power into the equation. Canelo is not going to last the 12 rounds.

Im pretty sure GGG will be fit in time to fight Chavez Jr if it gets signed and there will defintely be no issues if he were to fight Canelo after that.

I think he'd have trouble if he went up there and mixed it up with the big dogs up there..

I have often criticized Canelo , more specifically his management and the way he was handed everything.

In spite of that, though, I don't think Saul will struggle at MW , not as much as many think anyway.

He is a bit shorter than say GGG, , but has a longer reach, he's not too small.

In my opinion GGG is a fight in which Canelo would be competitive, if he lasts 12 rounds I can even see him getting a decision.

Canelo doesn't like to move too much, he will struggle with guys that force him to chase them around the ring, fleet footed guys with good defense. I think he'll look good against opponents who like to come forward.

Rubio weighed in at 157 two fights ago, so I guess it's do-able.

I would say though that Canelo is more likely to either kill himself making 154 or fight 154lbers at 155-156lbs+

I'd like to see him move up.

Hopefully he fights Lara, if he beats him, go for the green belt at mw. That's what he wants. He's gonna try to get the Cotto Sergio winner later on in the yr.

Lara is, in my opinion, more dangerous for Canelo than either Cotto or Martinez at the moment.

I can see Cotto being walked down. Martinez , while a difficult style match up for Saul, is coming off two serious injuries, he's fought only once in 2013 and looked quite old. I like him, but right now I'd favor Canelo.

Lara loves to move and is a good boxer, even if Canelo gets a decision I don't think he'd look good against the cuban.

Alvarez is unfortunate -- he's short and thick.
You all know that he will not become an undisputed champion among the middleweights.
