Descent against anyone without the initials GGG, I think he'd beat Martinez

Who would he beat and who would beat him?

Also, would he beat Rubio in an all-Mexican match-up?
That would be a great match-up to test the waters. Rubio is rugged and has power, but lacks athleticism. It's a realistic win for Canelo, but it is by no means a gimme.

He's also got size.... Canelo would probably win that one by decision.
Good fight to dip his feet, but by no means a PPV fight....unless he fights Sergio and beats him

If he beats Rubio, it puts him in line for Martinez or Quillin.

GGG undresses and destroys him. He has a t least a chance against the rest. He'd be a small middleweight as far as height is concerned.

Maybe that's what's next for him in June. But realistically, it'd be Quillin since it'd be way easier to make

Yeah, Martinez comes in weighing less than Alvarez.

I think Alvarez is between a rock and a hard place. He's one of the best at light middle, but I really think he would struggle at middleweight with guys like Murray, Stevens, and Sturm, not to mention Golovkin and Martinez.

Canelo loses to GGG , Sergio and Murray by knockout

Canelo loses to Geale, Sturm, Barker by wide UD

Quillen is a pick em fight on paper but GBP will pay him to take a dive

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Alvarez-Quillin at some point. Why else would Golden Boy keep investing in Quillin? They'll sacrifice him to Alvarez. Then Alvarez will pretend to be middleweight champion of the world. Once Martinez's HBO contract is up, though, he can fight Alvarez.

Well if Danny gets a shot before Canelo, things will be a lot harder. I still think Jacobs is good and I rate him better than Quilin.
His competition though is not that great.
Best wins are Lorenzo and Ishe Smith
