This thread made it obvious that the Canelo fans percieve Lara as a huge threat because you can sense the anger in the posts while they downplay the fight. They get mad that theres some public demand for the fight... what other fight would be as intriguing at 154 than the two top fighters squaring off? its really that simple.

hope it does happen and when Lara gets KTFO the same 9 lara fans on here will be crying for some kind of excuse. LOL if it goes the distance and canelo clearly wins they will cry robbery. Im tired of the idiots on this site.

Nah,Its the exact same shlt that happend with trout last year.
Fans claimed canelo was afaid of trout,was ducking him making
excuses not to fight him,Then boom he fights him.A year later
same shlt just a different name with same canelo haters.

Who would duck a guy who had life and death fights with Molina and Vanes? What a joke. If Canelo fights Lara, expect Lara to pull a Tim Bradley against Pacquiao..wouldn't be surprised if Lara ended up in a wheelchair after the fight.

Canelo isn't ducking this boring coward...Canelo knows boxing is a business and he wants the biggest money fight available. Look at the PPV numbers that the Angulo fight brought in...Lara needs an impressive win first not play it safe snooze fest fights.

No. Im sorry but your wrong. Its NOT "The same ****" Canelo WANTED to fight Trout. Canelo made it known that was the fight he wanted and Im not sure if you remember but Golden Boy didnt want that fight to happen. Canelo said enough was enough and put pressure on them demanding the Trout fight and then wanting Mayweather, Martinez and Cotto in no order for his following fights.

THATS what happened last year. In this case Canelo clearly isnt crazy about the fight when it makes sense since Lara is the number 2(arguably #1) fighter in the divison AND gives him another shot at the title..Thats why we all want to see it.
