true but whenever its a wide looper vs a straight sharp shooter, Im going with the sharp shooter. He would beat Maidana to the target even if they had the same speed, let alone Floyd being faster. Couple that with the fact that Floyd's defensive style is perfectly made to stop wide looping shots, I just dont see what Maidana can do, crazy power or not

Ortiz (who had dropped everyone he faced before Mayweather) was going to give Mayweather his first official knockdown.
Cotto at his comfortable weight was going to break Mayweather down and stop him.
Canelo is too big and will KO Mayweather to the body.

Now we have 'Maidana is going to shock the world and stop Mayweather'

See any patterns here? People really underestimate this guys toughness, look at the fights where he has stood and traded. He can weather a storm and some.
See what you did? They didn't wanna hear that. Now they're gonna go cry in their pillows again.

Maidana tightens up his punches when he's in close. His looping angles will help him get around Floyds guard and maybe catch him with one he can't see from a distance. He needs to throw them when Floyd is on the run like the one that caught Broner in the Second rd.

Maidana throws a great straight right too, but I think it will be irrelevant in this fight.

Some people thought this yes, but to say the majority? **** off.Especially Mosley and Ortiz. The majority had Mayweather winning. Just like an overwhelming majority have Mayweather beating Maidana.

Maidana went 12 with tiny Broner, but his powers gonna win him the fight against Floyd lol delusional

no, not Mosley. Most thought Floyd was flat out ducking him and this was just after Mosley decapitated the most feared man on the planet in Margarito

see, I think the total opposite. I think he has a much better chance with straight punches then he does that looping stuff. That wont work on Floyd. Floyd will get all inside of those looping shots and hurt him bad down the pipe

He is not going in there to have a fencing match with mayweather and try to look cute.

you can't tell a damn thing about his gameplan from that video. he's just working.

you can bet your ass he won't be throwing wild like that against floyd mayweather. it won't land. get close, land when you can, and get off with combinations and power when you've established yourself as a guy who can cut off the ring.

i expect chino to take a more measured approach in this fight. floyd doesn't have great power, but he's a sharp puncher with amazing timing. if you throw everything at him at once you won't have anything new to show him in later rounds. he'll have a set of moves for absolutely everything that you do, and he'll pick you apart.

i'm guessing that garcia is going to try and get chino to take a measured approach behind the jab. it's a long fight, and he can always go crazy later on.

you can't be measured late when you've been going wild early in the fight. it just doesn't work like that. you have to be an extremely versatile boxer, and maidana isn't that. if he's going to implement a gameplan, it will be early.

I'm enthusiastic about both. Does your enthusiasm for boxing carry over to training? I don't think you know what the purpose of that bag is for. It isn't for power and there wasn't much of it on display.

If you see power and speed in that video, more power to you. I sure as hell don't.
