Powerful? That's a 30-40lb bag. And yes he's pretty slow.

I know you are some kind of boxing gear enthusiast, but does that enthusiasm even carry over to boxing itself? Lol

He has got good power but generates it by opening up his body - the feign jab / left hook / overhand right combo is really powerful but totally telegraphed.

He will come forward, but I think that FMJ will not have any real problems evading these shots by using his Philly shell and the ropes, once FMJ gets his timing then he will start his pot shot countering.

Another thin with MM is his head / shoulder movement is OK but his footwork is quite poor, again this is will work against him.

Personally I think the only success the MM could have would be to work the body hard then go upstairs and hope to land a bomb.

But that's a long shot.

He could also go for a stoppage by body shot. If Floyd shells up on the ropes headhunting at that point will meet very limited success. His head is a mobile fortress.. But, Thing is... When Mayweather is in the shoulder roll form.. And he is twisting his upper body back and forth to roll punches off of each shoulder.. Those muscles running along his rib cage are so taut they can be twanged like a guitar string...the ribs underneath aren't all that well protected, compared to using a more conventional form. Nobody has really had the power and mindset to try to stop Floyd to the body, but with Chino it is a very viable option if Floyd is on the ropes as much as you say he will be.

At 1:06 you get to see just about how much power Maidana has. The straight right hand spins the whole bag! Very impressive and amazing.

Awesome power.

LOLOLOL, that's the point, the bag isn't supposed to spin when you hit the heavy bag, if you hit it just right, it should sway.

I think Mosley had Mayweather hurt pretty good.. But he couldn't finish... After Mosley rocked Mayweather twice in the 2nd... He fell for Money's all in gambit of taking the fight to him while hurt, not realizing he should have poured on the gas at that point and not backed off.. Case in point, Mayweather faded to the ropes after being hurt twice.. And threw a left hook, missing.. But it backed Mosley off. May also threw a desperate lunging right hand while he was hurt... And Mosley..... Backed.. Off..


After Mosley gave up the momentum he never gained it back. He fell into a game of trying to out twitch Mayweather...instead of trying to walk through Mayweather or go to war with May while he was still hurt...
