Tell me what Champion has Thurman beat? Paper trinket or real belt?

And this is coming from a big Thurman fan
    Just stop.

All I have to say is Berto, Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana and your whol argument is null and void.

Thurman beat a guy that would whoop the living stuffings out of Lopez and Broner. Chaves. Routed Zaveck, a guy that was on his way to stopping Berto, if it wasn't for the cut. KOd Karass for God's sake, and you're telling me him beating Khan wouldn't be enough for Floyd?

I think what you're saying makes perfect sense, Bungalows.

      Thurman-Khan, winner gets Floyd.

      Makes sense.

Thurman gets a big name win, or Khan gets a notable win at WW that puts him toward the top of the division.

Won't happen though because Khan is fightin Collazo it looks like.

        Brook
        Alexander
        Guerrero
        Collazo
        Broner
        Paulie

Lets see Thurman actually do something.

So far he has only Zaveck an old Quintana and Soto Karass.
Wait for it.........that's why I suggested he fight Khan. Are you people dense?

I'd like to see Floyd fight Thurman after he fights the Porter-Paulie winner and presumably wins that one. But if Thurman looks devastating I don't expect Floyd to even mention his name at all. We all know what happened the last time a breakout WW star emerged. Retirement time.

Thank you. That's all I'm trying to say. In a perfect world, Thurman and Khan would fight it out to see who fights Floyd. Thurman wins, gets the notoriety of beating Khan. Thus, killing the "he's not a draw" excuse. Khan wins, Floyd fight is hyped up to epic proportions.

How are you people not getting this?

I agree, I'm all for the fight, especially if it's set up the way you proposed. Just tell your team don't be crying cherrypick after Floyd whoop his lil ass lol

Floyd vs Thurman Sept. 2014, make it happen. If he beats Khan no reason why it shouldn't.

OK, cool, you're down for this idea. I can't tell others what to say, but I guarantee I'm not complaining.

Killing the hes not a draw excuse? Dear god is Prescott a draw? haha Is anyone Khan fought a "draw" now?

Thurman is years away from even being on Floyds radar. And no a Khan fight would not be the key to unlock a Floyd fight thats just silly.

Thurman breaks Khans glass jaw in less than 3 rounds. Then that means sign him up to get schooled by Floyd?

                    Really? I dont see it.

We all know he will absolutely KILL Khan. How does that magically make him ready for Floyd? People will be screaming if that fight gets signed.

Floyd will be called cherry pick non stop. Get real.

OK it will be a called a "cherry pick" and hes to "green" though.

Then the fact that Thurman has 0 high profile fights on resume, which matter for some fighters but doesnt seem to matter now, and has fought no champions
