    no

what I said is he is far less talented than Lomachenko

Lomachenko is considered one of the best amateur boxers ever. Franco's amateur career doesn't even compare. I'm using both of their amateur records and performances as indicators because neither Lomachenko or Franco have enough fights at the pro level to judge them by that.

so when you compare Lomachenko's record and performance to that of Franco he is FAR LESS TALENTED

We know this fight ain't gonna happen because of the beef between TR and GBP. GBP need to go ahead with Mares and Gary Russell Jr. Would love to see that fight on May 3rd!

It'll happen regardless of the TR GBP Cold War so long as both fighters want it.

Alot of people looking past Russell. The man 3 years ago had the fastest hands in the sport, by most critics. The man is a monster and has been taking his time to perfect his style.

Not against Loma but the inexperience was shown and people are quick to forget. Russell has had his time to edge out his style to the pros and wouldn't be surprised if he beat Loma in superior fashion.

Nobody is looking past Russell, just his resume, and Loma won't improve it. Too much irony, a fighter who never won a pro fight against a guy who never fought a live opponent for a title. Circus, WWF stunt, not serious boxing.

You're right, but on ability they're probably both top 5 in the division or better. It's a better vacant belt matchup then one featuring Orlando Cruz, Billy Dib etc.

Prove it! No disrespect, but the operative term is "probably". How do you know their worth? As of now, neither one has done anything to deserve a top 5 rating, much less a title shot, and sadly, against each other.

I mostly agree, but again it's a fight that would generate way more excitement than Ring #5 Nicholas Walters vs #6 Billy Dib. That might feature on FNF or TR undercard stream. And both Loma and GRJ would be well favored over both. And neither of those guys has any good wins either.
