Golovkins resume is no where near Sergios. Its much more than 1 or 2 wins away puga.

GGG to this very typing minute has not fought ONE good fighter. Lets be serious here.

Hes 31 years old and has done jack shyt in the sport of boxing. Sergio is shot imo and so he wont be fighting GGG anytime soon. But we need to be serious for a minute. Hes never fought anyone worth a damn ever.

yes it is.. pwill is really the only one thats impressive..pavlik is good only on paper coz of the lineal..besides that he got junior's bum ass , and average guys..also , minus the gift he got in his last fight , theyre about even, lol...

Alright, Sergio doesn't care about fighting GGG. Who knows where Quillin is. So, the fights GGG and his team want at 160 will not happen. They say, they can't move up to 168, but there about to sign to fight Chavez Jr. at 168..................Why can't he fight Andre Ward? You have no where to go at 160, when asked about Ward at 168, he claimed he wasn't ready, but he's ready for Chavez at 168? Somebody make this make sense to me.

I think Sergio and GGG will actually fight soon. Let's face it, Sergio is getting older and can't keep fighting against bums for much longer. Fighting on PPV against Cotto will make him want to have more PPV fights. And while I don't like Cotto post-Pac fight, he has regained a lot of his old form and will put glass jaw Sergio to sleep. After he gets put to sleep by Cotto, he will be desperate to make one big PPV fight and retire, and a fight against an HBO glamorized GGG would sell.

Sergio has accomplished way more then Golovkin.....but that doesn't mean Golovkin isn't as deserving as the next guy???

Since beating Williams and Pavlik, here's Sergio's resume....

Dzinziruk - Top 10 at 154, a decent win at the very very best
Barker - Never had done anything legit. Went on to beat Geale, but was stopped in 2 by an old Sturm
Macklin - Top 5 at 160, but all he'd done was arguably beat Sturm. Solid win.
Chavez: Top 5 at 160, wins over Zbik and Lee. Solid win.
Murray: Not a legit fight at the time, struggled and arguably lost the fight

Golovkin has wins over Macklin, Proksa was Top 10 at the time, Rosado was ok I guess. Nothing spectacular, but the guys been ducked by a ton of people. He's every bit as deserving as Macklin and Chavez were, and more so then Dzinziruk, Barker, and Murray were.....and a bigger threat then ALL BY FAR.

The funny thing is posters here claim Sergio is being ducked by guys who are anywhere from 10-20 lbs smaller then him.....yet he's not fighting THE FIGHT at his own weight class.

I will try to make sense to you, Mr. Unbiased

- For instance, GGG moves up and fights Ward at 168 right away. How he deserves to fight Ward in the first place? The same people (unbiased lol) here on the thread scream about his shidty resume. So if he moves up, then he should fight a tune up (Chavez is more than a tune-up lol), and then think about fighting Ward because a) he would have 168 fight experience, and b) he would beat a barely credible opponent (resume). Even then some will question his credibility based on resume, right?
So in case GGG loses to Ward, then who is GGG? right, he is an overhyped bum as he lost and he didn't deserve the fight in the first place based on his resume. His career will be hijacked for small amount of $ he earns with Ward, and he'll risk not getting any meaningful fights at 160 thereafter.
My point is that those people who claim his resume is shidty and still want him to fight Ward have problems with LOGIC, as contradict themselves as those vectors go different ways. Get it, Mr. Unbiased?

- But let's assume fills his resume with top names at 160 (at least Jr., Geale and Murray, as others fights are unlikely), Martinez retires, and GGG becomes the lineal champ officially - just like Ward. Then he fights Ward and for instance loses to Ward. Who would then question his credibility? He may easily come back to 160 and fight other top names. So my opinion is that he will try not fight Ward until he claims the lineal at 160. Another reason is that this fight between two legitimate champs will bring even more $.

- Fight with Chavez at 168 is PPV with a career high pay for GGG where he has high chances of winning the fight. Hell yeah it's a lucrative piece of cake.

Makes sense?

P.S. IMO the fight with Ward will happen in the future, just not now due to the explained reasons above.

Sergio time has passed. If an average can put him on deck, GG will certainly flatten him and Sergio knows it.. Respect to Sergio , he's a top figher with an amazing style but his time has passed now
