Agreed. I like Golovkin and many fans/experts in boxing are high on him. He looks like a skilled destroyer. But guess what, many top fighters look like that when fighting a particular level of competition.

It's not until they step up vs other top fighters with experience under the big lights and big fights that we find out who they REALLY are.

Martinez has been there with the guys he's fought at their respective points in their careers. Golovkin hasn't just yet. But he looks good so far vs his competition.

I like Sergio, but he doesn't want GGG

Of course Sergio is talking down GGG because he wants nothing to do with fighting him. Sergio has lost a step, he should've lost to Murray(at home too which makes it worse), and will do anything he can to stay way from GGG. Golovkin has done everything he can to face the best he had available. It's not his fault certain top guys at 154 & 160 want nothing to do with him. Hopefully Sergio has a change if heart and fights GGG next, if he gets by Cotto. But I doubt he does.
