    - For instance, GGG moves up and fights Ward at 168 right away. How he deserves to fight Ward in the first place? The same people (unbiased lol) here on the thread scream about his shidty resume. So if he moves up, then he should fight a tune up (Chavez is more than a tune-up lol), and then think about fighting Ward because a) he would have 168 fight experience, and b) he would beat a barely credible opponent (resume). Even then some will question his credibility based on resume, right?
So in case GGG loses to Ward, then who is GGG? right, he is an overhyped bum as he lost and he didn't deserve the fight in the first place based on his resume. His career will be hijacked for small amount of $ he earns with Ward, and he'll risk not getting any meaningful fights at 160 thereafter.
My point is that those people who claim his resume is shidty and still want him to fight Ward have problems with LOGIC, as contradict themselves as those vectors go different ways. Get it, Mr. Unbiased?

    - But let's assume fills his resume with top names at 160 (at least Jr., Geale and Murray, as others fights are unlikely), Martinez retires, and GGG becomes the lineal champ officially - just like Ward. Then he fights Ward and for instance loses to Ward. Who would then question his credibility? He may easily come back to 160 and fight other top names. So my opinion is that he will try not fight Ward until he claims the lineal at 160. Another reason is that this fight between two legitimate champs will bring even more $.

    - Fight with Chavez at 168 is PPV with a career high pay for GGG where he has high chances of winning the fight. Hell yeah it's a lucrative piece of cake.

    Makes sense?

P.S. IMO the fight with Ward will happen in the future, just not now due to the explained reasons above.
Man I'm not even about to read all this bullshit. Cause it's the same Bullshit that all you GGG fans keep spewing out. The man said that anybody from 154 to 168 can get it. Ward is at 168! Why can't Ward get it? Now I understand that they don't want to throw GGG in there with Ward and get his ass kicked before they can maximize his star power, but come out and just admit it. Admit that you made a dumbass statement by claiming you'll take on all comers in and around your weight class because that's a flat out fucking lie. He's not ready for Ward, but a few months ago, you, his fans, his team and he himself had no problem acting like they were ready. Ward pulled his hoe card and now we got you here trying to justify it. Call it what it is.

    • Muf.uckas kill me nowadays always screming "duck." Serg and GGG are at points in their careers where GGG is probably a very tough fight for the champ. But he's also at a point resume-wise that if Serg beats him. It will quickly be dismissed as him beating a hypejob. Therefore, its not an attractive fight at the moment. GGG needs to make himself more attractive by beating some legitimate opponents. Its that simple.

      • Everybody from 154-168 is ducking GGG (did Ward ever even send a contract?)

The haters can't take it anymore! Haha

They say, they can't move up to 168, but there about to sign to fight Chavez Jr. at 168..................Why can't he fight Andre Ward? You have no where to go at 160, when asked about Ward at 168, he claimed he wasn't ready, but he's ready for Chavez at 168? Somebody make this make sense to me.
Ward is in legal trouble again. Stop trolling.

Last time I checked Ward said HBO was force feeding us with GGG... and that he had ZERO problem fighting him. And we still haven't heard anything from his squad yet.

            • Sergio went from a fans favorite fighter to a punk a$$ b1tch. I got no problem with him wanting a big pay day but if he's just going to thumb his nose and fight lesser guys after this ppv date, he can just go away and retire. He's been making excuses for far too long about Golovkin. Get in the ring and prove yourself.

              • So Martinez claims he never said this.

Well... GGG team admitted that compared to the beginning of GGG's career in the US back in 2012 they now have changed their mind and would rather focus on 160 and try to unify in parallel with lucrative fights at 154 and 168. So what's your point? They admitted, but you are still angry. Why?

Maybe somebody mistranslated something or something? Who knows. But I doubt Martinez will avoid Golovkin.

I'm guessing he said something close to it, but something was mistranslated.
