In other words, Martinez is saying: "I do not have any intention of stepping into the ring with Golovkin, he is a monster"

He really should just move up and test the waters against an Abraham or Steiglitz or anyone in the top 10 at super middleweight because at least those fights can be made.
If Sergio retires after the Cotto fight, I will have no problem with it. He doesn't owe GGG a fight. Actually no one owes anyone a fight.

What I will have a problem with is if he keeps fighting and doesn't face his best challengers (GGG and Quillin) or move up and fight Ward. Because, while no one owes anyone a fight, there can be consequences to not fighting certain guys. In this case the consequence will be that Sergio will (rightfully) be seen as a delusional old guy, a king with no clothes.

GGG is MW champ of the world and you asking what is his best win? If someone at 160 with a belt is willing to step up face him you would find out.

An if he fights Chavez jr, he's fighting an undersized, oversized guy?

Quillin is a bozo, forget about him. He's content fighting the guys he is fighting. GGG isn't! He wants to fishy the top guys at mw, they're all avoiding him.

No he's not. Sergio Martinez is the MW champion of the world. Now what's GGG's best win again?

Why not ask this. What is Cotto's best win in the past 5 years. What was Murray's best win? What was Barker's best win before fighting Sergio.

How under any circumstances, were they more deserving of a shot?
