triple G's dad passed away and he has been inactive so he probably gained a little weight 168 should work out perfect for a guy who walks around at 170-173 when hes fighting at 160Comment

As a fan of the fighter, I'm less interested in what they say and more interested in Golovkin fighting at his best weight class.Comment

He certainly can. He stops almost everybody he fights. Sometimes it's ten rounds, sometimes it's three, but he usually gets his man out of there.I'm not so convinced Golovkin stops Chavez.
Golovkin took 10 rounds to stop Ouma, 7 rounds to stop Rosado (and he wasn't KO'd), 8 rounds to stop Stevens (and he wasn't KO'd) and 7 rounds to stop Adama.
Is he really going to stop "cruiserweight" Chavez inside the distance at a weight class above? As I say, I'm skeptical.
I agree with you, though, Chavezito's size and toughness will make it a tall order.Comment

If it's at The Forum, I think I'll end up going.
Big difference between jumping weight to fight the champion in his respective division and jumping weight to fight an unranked fighter.Comment

Cherry picking Gaylovkin taking the path to least resistence, why am i not surprised that none of Gaylovkin fans are calling him out on his cherrypicking?Comment

Yup more then i can recall in the last 10 years...usually the ppvs start mid year and end the year with a ppv too.I am all in favor of this fight however there are too many PPV's tabbed for this year as it stands.
3/8- Canelo-Perro
4/12- Pacquiao-Bradley
5/3-Mayweather-Chino
6/7-Cotto-Maravilla
*7/12 GGG-JCCjr
7/26 Canelo-TBA

There are many PPVs. Enough is enough and I am not paying for Canelo againComment
