... We don't have many good fights these days...
... This one promises to be spectacular...

(Golovkin boxed at the middleweight as an amateur -- 69-75 kg; SMW is 76.2 kg...)

This would be awesome! We finally see GGG take that next step up! However if I were GGG, I would want the winner of Cotto vs. Martinez at 160 (especially if Cotto wins). 168 gives the advantage to Chavez Jr.

If the proposal is real, Gł wont take it anyway.
They already made it quite clear they want to stay at MW and it makes little sense to go up in weight for only one fight.

Junior middleweight prospect Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is very motivated to challenge WBC champion Sergio Martinez. WBC president Jose Sulaiman recently revealed that Chavez Jr. would become the mandatory challenger to Martinez in 2010, and the fight will be ordered by the sanctioning body in the next couple of months.

                    Deal with It!
Ward cleaned the whole opposition, Golovkin duck the whole opposition.
