I think 160 is a good weight for Golovkin, don't think he should be moving up quite yet. Him and Martinez (after he whoops Cotto) have unfinished business for the MW crown.

The fight would take place on July 12th, on HBO Pay-Per-View, from the Forum in Los Angeles, according to Chavez's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank. Given Chavez's struggles with making weight, the fight match would require that Golovkin move up to the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds.

I'd prefer Golovkin didn't take this fight. He's a 160lb fighter and that's where he should box.

A loss to Chavez at a weight class above could be very damaging for his career, physically and financially.

Not sure the power goes with GGG to SMW, but the boxing ability does. Jr probably gets dropped with a body shot at some point, but then I haveta wonder is it gonna be a problem for GGG to basically be fighting a CW?
