You're a Pacquiao fan but Floyd/Hatton is what made you a hardcore fan of boxing?

Yup. After Floyd came out of "retirement" it's been one big berry pick.

And the way Pacquiao wooped Cotto while Floyd was on vacation or whatever he was doing made me a Pac fan.

I will probably get a lot of crap for this but it actually started with Pacquiao

I was a semi-casual watcher before, knew who Tyson was like everyone, and roughly watched the mega fights growing up, but I randomly came across a Pacquiao fight when I was a sop****re in college. He was fighting Barrera (2003) and that fight really made me interested in boxing. It was a fan friendly fight. Ever since, my interest got deeper and deeper, and really started following all the fighters up to this day. I respect all styles and enjoy the sweet science.

No no no. I was a Floyd fan in 2007; never really followed him before that.

                Then he retires.

Then comes back when all the threats at WW are gone. IMO Hatton was Floyd's last great win. Cotto would've been great if it had happened earlier, BUT Cotto lived too far.

As a kid in the 80s. Rocky movies, Ray Leonard, and Tyson were the main reasons

I remember my dad a uncles watching the trinidad vs de la hoya fight but because i from mexico and boxing wasnt transmited here by free tv i never really get into it, I started to see it when was the fight of pacquiao vs diaz but that was not the reason I started to follow the sport, for me was that I saw an anime called hajime no ippo that talk about styles and the history of boxing and also a friend from highschool was an amateur boxer a he told me about his fights, after that i started watching documentaries about ali and other great fighters and thats i get hooked to the sport.
