How did you guys start to follow boxing?

Boxing is a not really a mainstream sport right now as in most friends circle people talk about the nba kobe vs lebron and Kd , football about micheal vick and stuff and If you as them about floyd they say tmt or talk about money.I found boxing through a friend who introduced me into knowing some great fighters. How did you guys start to follow boxing?

around 97/98, i was 8 years old nd used to watch wwf
my pops used to say.. "why you watching that? its fake."
        i responded, "huh?"
he said yeah.. boxing is real.. they wear gloves and their opponents are bleeding, these wrestlers dont wear gloves, punch each other in the face nd theres no blood, isnt that weird?"
        i responded, "yeah it is"

mike tyson fought that saturday against i dont remember. my pops actually fell asleep during the main event, by myself i watched tyson knock dude out in the 1st or 2nd round, that coupled with his ring entrance, i couldnt believe how my pops couldve missed it but i was hooked ever since.

Watching boxing with papa dukes in the late 90's. He was a big fan of Tyson and Oscar.

Myself I got real into it when Mayweather Hatton happened

Man, I remember my uncles watching boxing all the time. The first fight that really caught my eye was Terry Norris vs Julian Jackson in 89 or 90.. I was about 5 or 6 at the time. After that, I would watch it here and there until I got a hold of the Chavez, Finito and early Trinidad days. Another fight from back then I recall was Haugen vs Camacho, Sr. I liked the matchup and remember Camacho's curl that had me like "wtf" but lol still

Floyd vs oscar I thought it was a pretty boring fight for all the hype it got ..but I enjoyed the engery ....saw manny PAC fight and I was hyped then I did all my research and history saw all the classic fight ......so if you want to introduced someone to boxing show them a PAC fight ....if you want to put somebody to sleep show them a Floyd fight
