Welp, I guess this debunks the notion of Canelo being responsible for Mayweather's PPV numbers. Canelo by himself only gets 350,000 buys. Now all the May haters have to find another way to try to discredit the dude.

If Mayweather did thise numbers he would ger crucified he did 800k to 900 k vs Guerrero who never was on ppv did over a million against Ortiz who was never on ppv, broke records with Canelo who hadnt been on ppv. Wrong again. Check out Mayweather's numbers in the Ortiz & Guerrero fights. Rumor has it they did about 800k. If you think Alvarez had nothing to do with the great numbers his fight with Mayweather did then you are completely incorrect!

350k is great if true. With a stronger B-side and a more decent undercard, a Canelo PPV easily does 500 to 600k. I think Canelo-Lara would be an easy 400-450k, with Lara being relatively unknown and all. Canelo vs Cotto easily makes it 800k in the very least, 1million is a possibility. Canelo vs Martinez does 500-600k I think.
