What ever happened to Canelo's other 2 mill buyers of his previous PPV since Canelo was the reason Floyd broke yet another PPV record?

You gotta be an idiot if you think may did those ppv numbers by himself. No way does may do those numbers again with a no name boxer.He needs people like Canelo to do any numbers close to that. I bet you think may does 3mill ppv with Marcos. Be realistic clown may does less then 1mil ppv in his next fight what the hell you going to say then?

So what. Canelo's a good fighter who draws well. And he fights in a very good weight range. Anybody from 47-60 would love to get a shot at Ginger. And he's good enough to compete with most everyone in that range. There's nothing bittersweet about it. Its good news.

He's got skills but he fought a zombie in Angulo, Trout was nothing more than a decent fighter himself & Mayweather shut him out. So when/if he decides to fight some good fighters, thats when we'll see how GOOD you say he is...ginger talked about how he wanted to make history and make mexico proud then on the biggest platform for boxing(ppv), he couldnt make weight? wtf kinda bs is that? Neither professional, nor making his country proud, or history for that matter. his popularity aside, the verdict is still out on ginger.....

Mostly agree that May needs a good opponent to do record breaking numbers.

I think the bolded segment is wrong however. I think May will do 1 mill with Maidana, and I think May does 1 mill+ PPV buys against any fighter that provides some form of challenge or has some form of name/recognition/brand.

Case in point is that Mayweather v Guerrero fight. I don't know any casual fan that knows who Guerrero is nor do I know any hardcore fans that gave Guerrero a legitimate chance to win yet that fight still did a good amount of buys.
