Very happy to read this. I hope this lets GB know that we fans that pay will happily support fighters who come to fight, regardless of the situation. It was a very entertaining card despite the fact that my fighters lost, I still enjoyed it. We don't want to see runners on cards.Comment

That is a pretty good number, money got made with a number like that no doubt when you consider the base purses for the main event were like $2 million, and outside of Santa Cruz the rest of the card was working pretty cheap.
Making money is their main goal and at 350k+ they will have banked and Canelo will get some upside so everyone involved will be pretty pleased.Comment

This is a good PPV for Canelo. Marquez vs Bradley did what 375,000 and those are some good boxers.Comment

Of course they do and his heel persona only increased those kindof buys. The dude's a master but he's as exciting as Rigo and Miguel Vasquez in there. Takes zero risks. U think casual fans turn up to appreciate his ring mastery??Comment

Wrong again. Check out Mayweather's numbers in the Ortiz & Guerrero fights. Rumor has it they did about 800k. If you think Alvarez had nothing to do with the great numbers his fight with Mayweather did then you are completely incorrect!Comment

Yes this debunks the hate Mayweather gets, face it he gets alot people watching his ppv cause he's the best and everyone wants to see how the best of the best p4p#1 operates and goes about his business. Thats the reason everyone watches Mayweather. 45-0 20+World Champions defeated. What other reason, would I spend money on someone I dont like, or someone Im hoping lose. Doesnt make sense.....s the WBC welterweight champion,[4] WBA (Super) super welterweight champion,[5] WBC Super welterweight champion, recipient of the WBC diamond super welterweight belt,[6] current Ring #1 ranked welterweight,[7] and Ring #1 ranked junior middleweight.[8] He is also rated as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world by many sporting news and boxing websites, including Ring, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, BoxRec, Fox Sports, and Yahoo! Sports. Mayweather topped the Forbes and Sports Illustrated lists of the 50 highest-paid athletes of 2012 and 2013 currently making Mayweather the highest paid athlete in the world
