Love how you avoided everything I said and turned it into something about Floyd. Yep Floyd cherrypicked Canelo, a person people said he would not fight, was undefeated, and the highest rated junior middleweight. If a fighter does not fight who YOU want him to fight, it does not mean he is cherry picking or ducking another fighter. YOU PEOPLE just throw out these asinine words/terms too much.

Personally, I do think it is a good solid fight. Like you however, I am confused how people who spent a year or more talking about how Bradley was a feather-duster fraud can declare this a great fight? I mean, if he lost 11-1 or 10-2 to Pac like some of the atrocious scorecards I've seen on here indicate and then lost to Provodnikov. I'm just wondering how this can be a great fight in their eyes just by using their own metrics.

Hmmmm, I see you like to make things up in your head and go with it. Neither myself or DeadLikeMe stated that Marquez beat bradley. Talk about a joke. WOW

the reality is that there is only 1 champion, and the rest are just contenders with belts. mayweather is the welterweight champion and until he gets beat or retires, to call any other welterweight a champion is BS.

mayweather is the champ, and the winner of pac bradley is the number 1 contender. therefore, if mayweather isnt fighting the number 1 contender, he isnt fighting the best.
I hope you complained when Manny was #1 and he was fighting guys like Margarito, Old Mosley, David Diaz, Marquez, etc.

You know he didnt. Those were huge tough fights for Manny.

          • Mayweather's fans first line of defence for their man is Pacquiao.

            Fan A: "Mayweather-Maidana is a **** fight."

Fl*mo: "B-b-b-b-but what about Brandon Rios?"

Fan B: "Man, Floyd is such a hypocritical little b*tch for requesting a catchweight."

Fl*mo: "B-b-b-b-but what about Pacquiao and Cotto?"

Well Pac vs Bradley is a great fight, because in 3 fights Bradley has won decisions so if anything he has shown it is hard to outpoint him even if you clearly outpointed him.

Sure Pac beat Bradley 10 rounds to 2. So what? Bradley is Floyds future superfight, yet Pac is fighting Bradley now, so stop making excuses.
So you saying its a great fight for Floyd, yet cos the standards for Pac are so high its not a good fight for Pac.

I didn't bring up Canelo but just an FYI, I stated BEFORE the fight was announced that Canelo was still too green and still learning to engage in a fight with Floyd. Also brought up the fact that he showed signs that he was NOT ready in the Trout fight. Low work rate, stamina issues, fights flat-footed....
And all that is not bringing up the fact that Floyd fought Canelo at a CW. According to Floyd and his fans logic prior to taking on Canelo, Canelo is still undefeated!

Anybody else fights Maidana and its a great fight. Anybody. Matthyse vs Maidana, Garcia vs Maidana, Thurman vs Maidana, Paulie vs Maidana, Maidana vs Porter, Maidana vs Guerrero, Maidana vs Broner 2. Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Even if it was Pac vs Maidana it would be a GREAT fight. Entertainment wise, there would be a legit belt on the line and no catchweight? That would be huge. But Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Manny vs Bradley 2? Im getting sleepy just thinking of it.
That's what Floyd fans said about the Ortiz that only fought Berto at WW. Ortiz has yet to win a fight!

Floyd fights them when they are all hyped up NOT when they have been consistently beating everyone at the WW. Before Broner, who spoke of Maidana and Floyd in the same sentence? NOBODY!!! Maidana lost every single round to Devon Alexander. Sure he was always holding but don't you think that Floyd has a few tricks up his sleeve?

What was Bob Costa talking about? He was saying that as great as Ali was, he had to get into those tough fights to become legendary.

Floyd didn't want to speak of the truth and brought up "health comes first"
