When you are fighting somebody but don't know how to land on them that is probably what he means.

Cotto still knew he could land on pac or margarito , you can't really say the same for Mayweather.

I agree. I think that was his point that Floyd is more masterful and harder to catch.

Cotto being a typical crybaby gatekeeper, nothing new really.

BTW, putting quotations around something doesn't make it a legit quote. Source?

Has there EVER been anyone that boxed them both that even said Pac was harder than Mayweather? Not Cotto or JMM...lol

Cotto trained himself, with the assistant of his friend, for the Pac's fight. I remembered Arum bullying Cotto into that fight, because Cotto was telling them that he's not ready and his above-the eye cut won't heal in time--the very same cut that was opened in the fight.

Saying that he would have won, i can't; but, i have a feeling, on a more level term, that fight would have been far more competitive.

That the issue though. Its not only just 2 pounds. Miguel doesn't walk around at 147. Most boxers go thru extremes just to make division weight. Now he had to go 2 pounds beyond that. This is not like a 250 pound man dropping two pounds. When its an athelete in extreme condition with barely any fat on their body 2 pounds his huge. Water is expelled. Muscle is shed. Both contribute to less strength. The effect both how you train and your performance in the ring. This cannot be countered.

In this case many was eating 8 thousand calories a day while training just to make weight. Miguel was quite the opposite. How many calories did he had to miss to make 145. He was probably eating 800 calories a day the couple weeks leading up to the fight. Tell me who was in better condition fight night. The results speak for themselves. Manny is not that much more talented than Miguel as the fight results suggest... Weight (and him being in essence trainerless) played a substantial roll.
