The difference is, Manny and his crew are NOTORIOUS for making excuses after a loss or a sub-par performance. Socks, leg cramps, the wrong gloves, etc. Cotto isn't. He had NOTHING to gain by stating his opinion about making 145 for Pac. Try again, son.

im not surprised. mayweather is very difficult to hit, where as he had some success against pac, he wasnt too hard to find. if i remember rightly, the rounds he got dropped against pac he may well have been winning.

Cotto's issue at that time was that he was being cherry-picked to make Pac look good. That's why team Pac waited until AFTER he looked horrible against Clottey before deciding it was safe to fight him. Sounds like a scenario Freddy "I saw your last two fights" Roach would be happy with. And btw, Pacfans shouldn't be allowed to use the term "sore loser" when referencing another fighter. Pac was supposed to destroy JMM in their third fight, but after he got schooled, his fans resorted to telling people that "Pac won if you watch in slow-motion" and other nonsense like that. And like I said before, Margarito beat Cotto worse than Pac did. Get it right, brah.

I think the world would agree don't you think? I mean yes technically Marg gave him the worst beating but he could have been cheating.
