So if he can't speak fluent spanish he's not Puerto Rican??? Lol that's ******. I can't front, he should speak it but I'm not gonna say he isn't one of us because he doesn't. He acknowledges being a Puerto Rican from Philly and rocks his flag on his trunks, IMO that's good enough.

One thing for sure is Puerto Ricans know and love their boxing, and if Danny keeps showing them he has the potential to be a future HOF, he'll get all the support he needs.

You are still hopelessly, helplessly oblivious to culture, despite the many scenarios, analogies, and insight into obvious differences that have been provided! If he cant speak the language, he is not one of them, not integrated into the Island culture! It has NOTHING to do with the label of Puerto Rican! Get it? Got it? GOOD!! All you do is have hissy fits over the fact that neither you nor Garcia will be seen on the island as being truly one of them. Get over it! Move on with your life!

Patriotism is just for the money in your pocket, or your soul in the battlefield !

Outta 20,000 fans that have packed msg to see him, how many of those are island born Puerto Ricans??? Not even a quarter of it probably. But they not true Boricuas though.
There you go again. True Boricua? Please, without looking at google in what year PR was discover? What our shield look like?

I can go on and on, questioning what you guys you think you know about PR. There is no shame in asking someone who claims he is from here, trying to cash from the fans, to at least know about Puert Rico.

So if a child is born of a Mexican father, and an American mother what would you consider the child to be?

You're an idiot! And I'm not an American born Puerto Rican, I was born there. My kids are though and IMO they're no different from me. I'm sure that's how angel sees it.
