Khan has a huge UK fan base but that doesn't make him one of the games best. He's not. So sure he has a name and draws a big PPV crowd, but he brings nothing to the ring. He's fought and dominated nobody in 4 years. The ONLY reason Floyd threw Khans name out there was to gravy train off that fan base; not because he did anything in the ring to warrant a fight. Which is why there was so much backlash for considering Khan regardless of some fictitious "poll" they say was had. Several guys more deserving than Khan.

He would've still on a technical skills basis been the better opponent. People clamor about his lack of excitement lately and his lack of domination. Let's sit here and compare both he and maidana's arsenal and it's a flat out no contest. Maidana just isn't a technically sound fighter...and the same people who have sat here and said you will not beat Floyd with a brawling style were the same ones wanting him to fight a brawler. I am no Amir fan but on a pure skill for skill basis it's no comparison between he and maidana. What's shocking also is the amount of people here who were saying pacquaio should avenge his losses to bradley and jmm to fight Floyd but didn't say the same for Marcos regarding Khan.
