Angel Garcia, father and trainer of WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, disagrees with Amir Khan's decision to stay inactive while waiting for a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Khan has been inactive since last April, when he struggled to win a close points decision over Julio Diaz. For almost a year, Khan sat back and even withdrew from a planned December fight with then IBF champion Devon Alexander, because the British star was confident of landing a lucrative slot against Mayweather on May 3rd.

their eating good so why chase for a floyd fight. even though they're not making the type of money they would fighting floyd they're still doing good. this is why i dont understand why khan is so obsessed with floyd all of a sudden.

if khan fight someone else khan would still be bringing in numbers in the millions. i think khan knows very well that he's not that good and if he continue to fight lesser name opponents he might lose and that will take him off the list for a future fight with floyd so khan is banking on getting a match with floyd make his doe and retired.

He's a star. Because he's talented. No question. If you can sell out a big venue and thousands of ppv's you're a star. Like it or not. And, yes, he's a good fighter. So he's not the best -so what? If only the very best were worthy of watching there would never be any fights.
