Pops is on point!!!....but I think AK might've taken the wrong advice from his advisors....he should've stayed active....AK can do his own shows....his UK base is loyal and his US base just need to see him rebound and don't drop the ball...AK was the cash cow at 140....he's definitely a star!!

ANgel makes some good points. What he forgets is khan's brand has taken a huge hit in the past 2 years so I would disagree with him being a star. Khan does have a name and a folowing in england-he definitely coud've fought there and made money.

to be fair khan signed the contract in december, so floyd was obviously going to fight him. how is khan supposed to know floyd is going to change his mind and fight somebody else after he had sent khan a contract.

with hindsight, of course khan should have fought somebody else. but thats mayweather for you, you never know what he is going to do next.

Everyone in the UK claims to hate Khan, but everyone always watches/buys his fights.

To be fair Khan is known all over the UK and America whether it be because he is well liked or not. But understand how he can come across a bit ****y sometimes, especially considering how badly he has performed since the Garcia defeat.

Always gonna make good money no matter who he fights. Actually shocked when I read this article and Angel Garcia sounded like he had something positive to say.

Khan has a bigger fan base than Guerrero or Ortiz ever had. He still can financially do quite well with out a Floyd fight as long as he keeps winning.

Maybe his team are not confident that he can take a risk waiting for the big shot. The Alexander fight was an important one to position him as a legit contender.

This Khan is a big star with a huge fan base is utter nonsense, he has very few fans and most people just laugh at him every time he gets bandylegged. Sky had to drop doing PPVs of his fights because people simply did not buy them. He has lost 2 of his last 4 and looks on the slide so if he has any sense he will take the big offer to fight Brook before he losses in a much less lucrative fight and misses out on a massive payday. His last fight with Diaz had plenty of empty seats in the Motorpoint arena contrary to the stories of it selling out.

Well he can't exactly degrade Khan knowing that's arguably his son's best win.
