I'm not a Ward fan I find his fights extremely boring and I think certain aspects of his personality is artificial, also he's horrible as a commentator, but continue on.....

Hunter is right. I said the same thing earlier.

I don't get why people aren't honest with themselves at simply admit the truth. Golovkin not moving up has nothing to do with unifying the middleweight division or whatever first. It's about the risk is being to high for the reward to move up and fight the likes of Ward. Yes, I know it's not sexy to admit that the fearless Golovkin isn't actually totally without fear. I actually think it's fair enough, but these round about excuses are annoying the fuck out of me.

OH, how convenient that for Ward boxing is a business, but for Chavez, and GGG, they're just ducking.

If I were Team Golovkin I would jump all over the Jr fight and avoid Ward....it's the right business decision but not necessarily a honorable one

If I were a Golovkin fan I wouldn't even try to justify this b1tch move....it is what it is

Virgil is right, they would definitely be picking and choosing if that fight got made....Ward is THEE champ but nobody wants his title.....damn, gotta give Ward a boogeyman hat!!....he's definitely the boogeyman of 168!!

Canelo rehydrated to 174 for the fight, but Trout rehydrated to 172.
What weight advantage are you talking about?

I know how hard it must be when your friend is not invited to a party, the last time my family refused to invite my brother to a quinceanera was because everyone thinks he is too loud when he is drunk and fights too much, Ward however has the opposite problem, no one knows him and he doesn't fight enough, maybe he should drink like my brother...

Wow!! Ward is ridiculous. I suppose he wants the fight in Oakland like he fought the whole super six. Guys either have to come up or go down and weight to fight him. When is he gonna start taking the challenges he keeps accusing everybody else of avoiding?

the dawson fight happened after bute already lost. check your timeline. fighting the #1 contender in your division is more impressive than fighting a drained fighter but that's my opinion. if he went up to 175 i would agree but he didn't. after the super six everyone wanted ward to fight bute and it was the biggest money fight for him but he said bute didn't earn a shot, then again he just fought unknown edwin rodriguez for less money than the bute fight so its hard to track his contradictions.

Ain't nothing wrong with taking a Chavez fight. Especially if they know Ward will stop this GGG train in its tracks. I can't blame them for playing it safe. Ward is a different animal, and if they choose to stay away then so be it. We can't force team GGG to fight who we want. Let's be happy he's staying active guys. Take it easy on him
