Yes he's my favorite fighter, but I'm not a fanboy here to defend his every move because frankly it'll be impossible with his team being so inadequate at PR.
Call it a duck if you want frankly he should be fighting Provodnikov. The purpose however is to fight Alvarado as a tuneup to get a rematch for the WW title. Ruslan is too risky. Marquez has established his legacy and could fight whoever he feels is more beneficial to his career he has earned that as he only has a few fight left.
In Ruslans case wether he or his team don't want the fight is irrelevant the fight makes sense financially. There is no bigger fight for him right now financially or legacy wise. Ruslan is an exciting fighter but hasn't accomplished much in this sport. He's clearly not in a position like Marquez to pick and choose opponents. Rios clearly want the fight what legitimate reason is there to prevent it? Other than it being too risky if they want a shot at the elite fighter at WW.Comment

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder what they get out of posting about the sport if they don't truly love it. If they were in love with it, they would know it well as they would study it intensely. Why go out of your way to create a user account and all? Just to troll when the opportunity comes probably.Comment
