        Much appreciated.

        Ya know, instead of calling me a '******' and 'cum-guzzler', why haven't people taken a step back and asked why Paulie Malignaggi gets more media pub and fan attention than Joel Casamayor (for example).

        Or why it has taken so long for JL Castillo to be recognized as the great fighter that he is? Or why the great trilogy of Barrera-Morales has sold less than $15MM each. While the snoozer AND THE REMATCH of Hopkins-Taylor each sold over $20 mil.

        I think those are worthy discussions.

        At the end of the day, gents, boxing is about MONEY nowadays. And the promoters are looking for "fan-friendly" faces to fill the house and broadcast. We are all hardcore boxing heads. But it is the 'casual' fan that is sold by the media.

        Margarito is fighting next week and tickets are selling like snow cones in Alaska. Thus, Margarito is not going to get big title fights because "he is not an economic draw". Meanwhile, inferior fighters with a rabid fan base (paging Mr. Gatti) are going to fight for a title belt.

        When Gatti beats Baldomir, and Floyd beats Zab and PBF decides that he wants the welterweight belts...what then?? Let's not be myopic.

        MARKETABILITY => MONEY => MATCHUPS

        And good matchups are what we, as boxing fans, are all about.

              if you dont all ready, get a job in marketing!
              yes t.v coverage creates more money, thus bigger matches.
              so how do YOU KNOW what the quite boxers ARE DOING? you dont!
              therefore you can only comment on what you know!
              o.k is the ****tist middleweight over-hyped for his next fight?
              you dont know!
              neither do i!
              so maybe you should pick a topic on something you do know 100% about, i.e marketing

                So, please give me the best white fighters of the past twenty years.
                Not sure why you are asking this question. Even though I'm a fan of Gatti, Vargas, Mosley, Morales, Lacy, B-hop and others, I've always had a greater interest in heavyweight boxing than the other divisions so it probably wouldn't be fair for me to comment on other weight classes.

                As for heavyweights I'd say the Klitschko’s, Morrison, Sanders, Botha, Shultz were all pretty good and I'm sure I'm missing a few. But the heavyweight division has been dominated by Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, and Holmes for the last 30 years or so. Where are you going with this?
