No, no way. I wouldn't compare any of those kids to a guy like Salido. Orlando came up the hard way, a boy amongst men. He learned how to survive, then win, against many guys that were probably more talented than he ever was. I actually like Siri a lot. I just don't like the way he fought Lomo. Then again, that's what you get when guys fight for their livelihood, not for glory and some pieces of metal.Comment

I don't know if missing weight was intentional. I mean, it could've been, but Siri has been fighting at 126 for a long time, and he's not getting any younger. What bothered me more were the constant low-blows. They were intentional. No doubt in my mind. What's much worse is Cole's "officiating." At least Salido was looking out for his career. Cole was just being corrupt.Comment

Why does everyone insist this was Lomachenko's second bout outside amateur boxing?
As if the World Series bouts were not relevant. He fought a bunch of 5 rounders set up in as professional a style as can be.
Not to take anything away from the great amateur that he was and the probably great pro he will be but "ooh it's only his second pro bout, it was a massive transition", please come off itComment

Amateurs also get paid. Does that mean the amateurs are infact the professional ranks? It has nothing to do with what you're paid and everything to do with the system under which you fight and who you're fighting.Comment

They fought without headgear and got paid ... And I'm guessing used 10-9 scoring. That's professional boxing.Comment
