This is getting a bit pathetic now and I don't mean Lomachenko's desire but rather Arum's insistence in making him an instant cash cow.

I'm a Salido fan but I recognize talent when I see it and Lomachenko has talent. What he doesn't have is experience and the confidence / security that comes with it. When he let his hands go last night, he looked good. He just encountered scenarios he wasn't prepared for and he was left clueless and hesitant.

They should give him 4-5 fights to settle into the pro game and then give him a title shot. However, it would be disrespectful to other fighters who have worked their way towards a title shot to give Lomachenko ANOTHER special chance like this after failing to take advantage of it.

You can't blame the kid for taking these chances if they are available. We'd ALL do the same thing in his place.

I agree. I think he needs to develop a pro game. Give him a steady dose of bums for a year and work his way up. Have him fight 6 or 7 times. Also get him a better trainer. The father-son training combo's rarely work out. His father has been an amateur trainer his whole life, he can't teach him tricks that someone like John David Jackson could teach him. That's what he needs to do, he needs to get with John David Jackson like Kovalev did work with him for a year.
