Arum: "I will get Vasyl a title shot in his next fight!"

I think Bob Arum is right since it'll probably be a title shot for the vacant WBO belt, I don't see how Vasyl can challenge for any other belt right now.

How, he was ranked #5 by the WBO when he fought Salido, now he lost, he'll drop down in rankings. That's some serious corruption going on if he does fight for the WBO title again.

For which title is Mares fighting? He is fighting Miura next and Gonzalez has WBC, WBO is vacant and Russell Jr is the #1 contender, Gradovich has IBF, and Vetyeka has WBA and he will be fighting Donaire.

Even if he did fight for a tile next, he was gonna fight for a title anyway against Gonzalez in a rematch.

Mares is fighting for a title next. Miura is the W.B.C. champ at 130. Mares has put in his work and earned his stripes though, so I have no problem with that fight. If Lomachenko on the other hand gets a title shot again that'll be a disgrace.

This is getting a bit pathetic now and I don't mean Lomachenko's desire but rather Arum's insistence in making him an instant cash cow.

I'm a Salido fan but I recognize talent when I see it and Lomachenko has talent. What he doesn't have is experience and the confidence / security that comes with it. When he let his hands go last night, he looked good. He just encountered scenarios he wasn't prepared for and he was left clueless and hesitant.

They should give him 4-5 fights to settle into the pro game and then give him a title shot. However, it would be disrespectful to other fighters who have worked their way towards a title shot to give Lomachenko ANOTHER special chance like this after failing to take advantage of it.

You can't blame the kid for taking these chances if they are available. We'd ALL do the same thing in his place.

He's gonna crash and burn. There's a reason why the most elite amateurs go through the ranks for a title shot. Salido's good, but he's not at his best and he clearly won the fight.
