He should fight someone good in his next 4-5 fights, purely for experience. Then, after that, maybe a title shot.

I admire the confidence but I can't help but notice the desperation. Should he lose this fight too, that's not a good look and as others have alluded, he won't make any friends getting title shots like this with out earning the shot.

Arum is a punk ass lawyer/corporate schmuck...this is what he does. You need to be a man and stand up to a guy like him, that's why Bradley seems to have his way while "yes men" like Pac and Loma will get dictated to and controlled as long as they are under his banner.

I think Bob Arum is right since it'll probably be a title shot for the vacant WBO belt, I don't see how Vasyl can challenge for any other belt right now.

I thought I read somewhere on here that Lomachenko wanted to move up and get a belt as fast as possible, and that was in his contract? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

He actually showed a lot for a newbee but he should get a bunch of fights before even wanting as title shot. It would be a waste to see a fine amateur retire with a 5-5 record.

For which title is Mares fighting? He is fighting Miura next and Gonzalez has WBC, WBO is vacant and Russell Jr is the #1 contender, Gradovich has IBF, and Vetyeka has WBA and he will be fighting Donaire.

Even if he did fight for a tile next, he was gonna fight for a title anyway against Gonzalez in a rematch.

I heard the reason Vasyl signed with Arum was that he didn't want to face tomato cans and wanted title shots or big fights right away. Got to applaud the kid for not wanting to cherry pick.
