I'm pretty sure Loma wasn't the #1,#2 or #3 ranked fighter by WBO. But got the fight for the title. Since the title means **** all, why make weight. Lets take this AMA KING to school. Thats exactly what happened. If i'm Gary Russell, Jr. I'm wondering wtf is going on here. Cause Bob don't got my best interest!!! Bottom line Loma lost, doesn't matter how he just did.
Salido won the vacant title against a guy who earned it by coming out of the closet and who was way less competitive.

What does Arum have to do with Russell jr?

He lost a SD to a seasoned world champion in his 2nd fight. He went 12 rounds with ease after only 1 fight. Even though he lost he's probably learnt and achieved more in his first 2 fights than any new pro has. You could say he was arrogant to think he could fight for a world title after 2 fights but its a refreshing change from an ameture fighter fighting 20 cans before stepping up.

Respect to you...and now we know that everyone who wrote him off after this performance is a fool and Loma made them eat their words.

Calling him Rigo's food lol and now a few years later he has made Rigo quit

How sad is your day that you had to dig up a 3 year old thread? Insecure much?

I don't think he will ever be able to box and move from the outside for 12 rounds to win fight, which is what will be required for him to succeed without power.

It is very clear after last night that he doesn't have the power, AT ALL. It wasn't even a situation where he was throwing hard and Salido just has a great chin. Loma is just visibly is an arm puncher, with no snap.

He just unfortunately doesn't have the power to make the kind of aggressive style is is famous for work in the Pro ranks.
