Get used to it, my friend. They might even remind you of a fight that took place four years ago. I can't even stomach this version of Khan. Last time he fought I changed the channel as soon as I saw this dude Diaz put him on his ass

      How long have you got?

His resume is littered with guys who are slow and flat footed and have no jabs and not much defence.

Canelo, Guerrero, Ortiz, Cotto (jab but slow) Oscar (jab but slow), Mosley (fast for a couple of rounds, ZERO jab), Hatton etc etc

A better question would be who has he faced with genuine speed of hand and foot. Or who has he faced that's actually got a jab.

Are you actually suggesting that Maidana isn't completely tailor made for Mayweather?

The thing is. If Floyd had chose Khan. That "portion of the fanbase" would be saying Floyd chose the guy with a glass jaw and no quality wins at welterweight over the guy that just showed he could beat "the Mayweather style."

Just because when Khan gets bambi-legged he has to run around the ring doesn't mean his footwork is special.

Right. SMH. Not only that, the guy has done squat at the weight. With a glass chin. With bad footwork. But his hands are fast tho.....the hell out of here.

Both are actually poor choices. Mayweather has brainwashed his fanatics into thinking this is a good fight simply because its "better than Amir Khan".....lol

However you claim Cotto hasn't beat a legit opponent, but that doesn't mean he is still not a great fighter. Remember he gave Floyd the toughest fight of his career.
And Angulo, while he quit, it wasn't like he was getting completely dominated in the fight and quit, like Dawson in his Ward fight. Angulo was a very live dog in there, actually dropping his opponent twice.

Schaffer said it best when he said sometimes it's not if you win or lose, but how you look. Khan won his last fight but looked terrible doing so.
What has Cotto done to make him a legit opponent for Martinez? What has Angulo done to make him a legit opponent for Canelo?

What the heck are you talking about?
Their jab and speed of their jab is what gave Mayweather problems in the first few rounds of their fights. Especially since both of these guys are natural lefties who fight orthodox.
The reason you saw their jab, and them slow down in the fight is because after a few rounds, once Mayweather had the speed of their jab down, they were getting countered with right hands every single time they threw a jab. After a while of you getting countered with hard flush right hands, you're going to be reluctant to throw a jab against Mayweather.

Compared to Maidana, Khans footwork is god like

Floyd took the easy option, its as simple as that

He's said in various interviews he rather take an easy fight than a hard one, health comes first

Angel Garcia said he doesnt blame Floyd, because he himself was trying to get Maidana to fight Danny not to long ago instead of Lucas, but Maidana said no

Sometimes the easier option is better for ur health and for Floyd health comes first

Don't know where I said his footwork was "special". He has fast feet and can get in and out of range. Marcos Maidana looks like he's walking through cement.
