con doesn't fight in september. he'll probably have a fight soon and then one in december. he has to avoid getting ktfo'd for the rest of the year and look good doing it if he wants another shot at floyd next may. frankly, i don't see that happening if he fights at least one credible opponent. he's shot and is looking to cash out.

I don't think Garcia really understands the fight speed of Mayweather. It's like going from NCAA Football to the NFL in terms of game speed. Can't really say Khan would be the tougher fight because the highest weight Khan has fought at was 143. We don't know If Khan will be as fast with the extra 7+ pounds of weight on his body cuz from what I saw he looked top heavy at 143 vs Diaz. Broner looked good and fast at 135 until he moved up to 147, there he was a mediocre fighter at best. Khan needs to take a fight at 147 if he wants a shot at Floyd, and something tells me he won't fair too well at the weight. Like Broner I don't think Khan can even weigh in at 147 maybe 144 or 145 and then gain 5-6 pounds overnight, that's not a welterweight.

I dont know that. Khan is definitely gonna have to have a pretty decent opponent , oh and win. You'll never know who'll have the hot hand by the time it comes to select an opponent. Garcia could say he's ready or Thurman could get the fight. Both of those guys would be priority before Khan. Khan is not a lock for September. He probably needs more than just one fight to land Mayweather.

Garcia is playing it smart and safe. Thurman would be to big of a risk at the moment for Floyd. Khan easy money w a following.

I believe Thurman is getting one of Floyd's last 3 fights. He'd be just as big a risk in September as he would be next May or September.

First things first (and let's make them factual and logical):
1) You are either Pakistani or British to be making a case for your boy. If you are **** then the only reason you watch boxing is because of Khan. Nothing wrong with that since you gotta support your kith and kin that you ignore the fundamentals of boxing

2) You probably also think Martinez was lucky with his stunning KO of Paul Williams (if you follow other fighters other than Khan)

3) Bottom line: Khan got KO'd by a bum (Prescott), got KO'd again by an average fighter (Garcia), dropped by bums (Diaz, Prescott) and has not had a decent win in the last 2 years and looked pathetic in his last fight

4) Khan has the same excuses every single time he loses or gets KOD i.e he struggles to make 135 but now moving to 140 will make him stronger. Then he gets KO'd and say he struggles to make 140 so he'll move to 147 where he'll be stronger. Next it will be 154 after he gets pulverized, AGAIN.

5) He switched to Roach and does the same crap then drops Roach for Hunter and claims he is now a complete fighter BUT we see the same flaws over and over

6) Maidana has a belt (unification) and boxing fans (Americans and Latinos) respect him and they would rather watch him fight Floyd than your tomato can Khan

7) Khan claims Floyd ducked him to fight Maidana and yet he ducked Devon to try to get Floyd.

Finally, Khan will lose to any of the WW if he were to fight any of them (Porter, Thurman, Devon, or Mathysse).
And those hand speed that you all rave about, where are they when he fights the likes of Garcia, Prescott, Diaz etc. He can't beat those guys and yet he can beat Floyd??
