may weather doesn't have that kinda pop to KO khan

why do people forget that? khan gets rocked by punchers, i didn't see lamont peterson (who was on PEDs) hurt khan.

When Pac was beating Barrera and Morales, and JMM Floyd was still considered number 1, and that cant have been anything to do with his resume, rather perceived skills.

There was a thread made up the other day and the question asked was is it resume or skills that dictates p4p. In Floyds case its perceived skills and people are fascinated with peoples inability to hit him with regularity.
So Rios and Rodriguez were tougher than Canelo right.

BTW, the first time Pac fought Morales he was coming off a loss to Barerra. The second time he fought him, he was coming off being outclassed by Zahir Raheem. And when it was clear Morales was done. Instead of fighting Raheem or Popo Freitas who had just beaten Raheem. He chose to fight Morales again. So when you talk about perception. Was Pac really fighting elite opposition? Or did you just perceive that he was?

Everyone hates on Khan but he would bring somehing that Mayweather has not dealt with in a while.

I'm not saying Khan wins bt he brings a different dynamic and he's not gonna stand right in front of Floyd and come straight at him trying to pressure him and land a big shot.

Like Danny said he's tall with long arms uses his jab, has fast hands and can box and move. He also has power in his punches, and there is no threat in him being knocked out.

I'm not saying Khan would win but like Danny said he would pose more of a problem to Floyd, and Floyd is not trying to deal with that.

So he selected Maidana which I like but in all reality he is flat footed, comes straight forward, doesn't try to get out of the way of anything and will wing wide shots in the hopes of landing something big.

Taylor made for Floyd, there is a reason he fights these types of fighters, it's all about low risk for him. As soon as Maidana name was dropped into the conversation Khan had no shot. Typical Floyd, not surprised and I will not waste my money on this fight.

I'ss save it for Martinez vs Cotto & Canelo vs Angulo, at least I'll get my moneys worth.
          100% my thoughts exactly

            1. Mayweather hits harder than PEDerson.

            2. Bull**** Khan wasn't hurt in that fight. He was on his bike like it was the Tour de France for a reason.

The whole "Khan would have been a tougher style" to me points to the fact that most people wanna see Floyd lose than they wanna see him fight legit comp. Because a rational can't be made for Khan "deserving" a shot at Floyd. A very easy one can be made for Chino.

look where they are now both champions in their division, so who should he have been fighting instead?

We are talking about when Pac should have been no1 all those years back, when Floyd was no1, and CW canelo is after cherry picking of Ortiz and Guerrero he was due a challenge.
Morales lost to Barrera? Well Morales still better than those guys FLoyd beat like Hernandez, and losing to Barrera is no disgrace.
Holyfield woiuld have got as much credit beating Tyson as he would have beating Buster Douglas. When people talk about Holyfields great wins, Busters name never comes up. So why should it matter that Morales underestimated Raheem and lost to him? Id still get credit for beating SRR directly after SRR lost to Turpin as well.

All these people saying Khan's a harder fight.

I wonder what most of them would have said if he was fighting Khan.

                      I'll guess at something else.
