LOLz my childhood right there.
i wasn't lucky to have those kind of consoles when i was a kid, but i did have the sega genesis and chavez II was one of my favorites, loved the gameplay, ironicly never watched any of his fights in that time, only when i grew up.

I kind if remember watching one of mayweathers fights when I was younger but I can't clearly remember. The one I clearly remember is pac-marquez 4. I didn't get into boxing until early of last year

In the nineties and 2000s there was a sense of community in my old neighborhood.

            That's gone.

I live in an apartment, and -- even though I'm surrounded by lots of people -- there is no sense of community.

This is the age of the internet. We've physically disconnected ourselves from humanity. **** sapiens are evolved to be among one another and among nature.

Gotta step away from my computer every now and then.

Damn man you're making me feel bad!! We weren't rich or anything like that. Me and my brother shared them. I got the PSX in 1998 for Christmas and the n64 later in 2000 or so. Back then we used to share games in school as well... And I used to play the hell out of those Playstation Magazine demo discs.

I never had the Genesis... I always wanted the Super Nintendo because my cousin had it... we used to play Double Dragon all the time. Damn Im about to get sentimental LOL. Damn those were gooood tiiiimes. My parents didn't buy it and it wasn't until 1998 when they finally got us a console.

Discovery Zone as well... damn. *cries*

That is it, community. Real interaction. Setting the hole in the dirt to play marbles lol, playing cards in a group, playing with the gameboys connected with the cable lol, sharing games, reading PHYSICAL MAGAZINES (those were the social media networks), sending letters to those magazines hoping they would respond...... AHHH I don't know. I loved that era.

I get you and the thing is man and the sad thing is, I have done the same... I have changed into the new type of society. I say a few hellos here and there and get into my apartment to kill time indoors.

I will try to make it a point to do the same.
