What is the first boxing match you remember watching live?

Can't remember the first fight I saw....my dad used to take me to the live shows at the Blue Horizon when I was a pup.....but I knew this was a serious sport as a kid when my dad jumped up and spazzed out screaming "bull****" while mom screamed "No" and big bro started to shed tears.....Richard Steele stopped the Chavez-Taylor fight with 2 seconds left....that was my first REAL memorable exposure to the sport....been hooked ever sense

First live boxing I saw on TV where Italian boxers fighting live on Italian channels and the first two big fights were Tyson vs Lewis , I still remember the line of security in the ring, and Lewis vs Klitschko.

First fight I remember seeing, and one that I actually attended, my father and uncle took me to see Chacon-Limon IV at Sac Memorial. The thing I most remember was how crazy the place was. I was 6.

Really started getting into the sport due to the '84 Olympic team.

I've seen Tony Lopez a couple of times at old Arco Arena. Place was packed, and was crazy as well.

Seen a whole lot of boxing from ABC's Wide World of Sports, Tuesday night fights on USA, watching PPV's on my black box, so on.

I've watched a lot of boxing over my life, and as much as it frustrates and disappoints me at times, I well continue watching until I'm put in the ground.
