sanctioning bodies rankings, belts, sure come into it. i think you would be hard pressed to disagree that JMM and bradley aren't elite level opponents, no matter what belt they had or didnt have, or who they fought before the pac fight.

part of it too me is H2H, who do u believe beats the others. if floyd vacates his belts and ranking and moves up to JMW and stays there others will get his belts rankings. now when he comes back down to 147, surely people will say he's still p4p #1, despite not beign ranked, having a belt, or fighting at that weight in his last fight.
