i think guerrero > maidana at the time they both fought floyd

i know maidana beat soto karass and lopez but come on dude. those guys are good not great. guerrero atleast i think had 1 loss that was controversial if i can remember. he looked badazz in his fights with preceding the mayweather bout. we never saw guerrero take a schooling like he did against mayweather. we already SAW maidana take a schooling from a lesser boxer, devon alexander. theres a differnet between champion and titleholder. we all know hwo the true champions are in boxing.

of course floyd still has great handspeed those counters will be raining down on maidana's azz, the punches you dont see hurt the most.

That was also his first fight at 147, but he's bounced back well from that fight. Soto Karass and Lopez are decent enough fighters, and Maidana stopped both. He then beat Broner, the next big thing supposedly, and looked like a beast doing so.

People can't hate on this fight.

Soto Karass reminds me of Mantequas Medina, though he never has become Champion yet. The guy keeps winning after losing and has been around since father time. Still don't aggree with you, Ortiz, the guy has gone further than Panchito and fulfilled goals Panchito should have but didnt', but man the guy should be better than he is. Broner barley beat Pauli, just barely and Paulie is another guy reminds me of Mantequea Medina (Manuel Medina, not to be confused with the original Mantequeas).

Thurman is the only fight i want to see Floyd fight at welterweight and Pac just cause Floyd really is scared of the Pacman even though i as s. u. me Floyd will win.

But all Thurman has done was beat Soto Karass......Maidana beat him, as well as Lopez and Broner.

I'd like to see Thurman perhaps a year from now if he adds another couple solid wins.

not hating, just my opinion that maidana is going to lose badly, in more dominant fashion then anyone recently.

              was excited for floyd-ghost

              was pumped for floyd-canelo

will be sleeping on the couch for flloyd-maidana

If the Floyd that fought Guerrero and Canelo shows up, Maidana may win a round. If the Floyd that was tested at times from Ortiz' pressure shows up, things could get interesting at least a little bit.

What if Maidana is able to tag Floyd and trap him on the ropes???

haha my dude, u know im just messing with ya. it'll prolly be a good card so i'll be excited as always to watch the event.... but i remember the ghost and canelo fights still thinking mayweather would win, but there was almost like a small bit of hope that they could make it exciting and be competitive. i was fooled twice, im not going to be fooled three times. still, any floyd fight is historic now and we're all going to be tuned it. doesn't mean im going to PAY for it, Haha!

I was almost hoping for Mayweather-Khan, so I wouldn't be dropping money in May for PPV. But now that it's Maidana, and the undercard will probably be pretty good, I'll be forced to buy.

Yea.... he was going to beat either of them, Maidana deserves it more
