Maidana is coming off 3 decent/solid wins at 147, is a title holder, and should be a Top 5 WW.

This is a solid good fight for anyone from 140-147.....anyone
    Not better than Bradley-Pac unfortunately.

Maidana won't pull an Ortiz and mentally crumble, he won't try to box from the outside when he's not a boxer like Canelo tried, and he won't just continue to get peppered all night from the outside like Guerrero without doing anything about it.

One thing you know is he'll come and bring it 100% every second of every round.

This is another solid fight for Mayweather.

Ehhhh I agree. Thing is, I already know Pacquiao beat Bradley the first time. Only reason that fight looks good now is because Bradley beat Marquez handily, and frankly Top Rank has no other legit opponents for Manny right now.

But people can't fault Floyd for fighting Maidana. Coming off 3 solid wins at the weight, has a title, and is the hardest puncher around that weight. Anyone from 140-147 fighting Maidana would be solid.

Stop with the jokes. Guererro was a better opponet and had beaten better opponets than Maidanna did.

It's one thing to hear it out of the mouths of the fighters themselves; it's another to see evidence of it throughout a fighter's career.

i can't fault floyd for fighting maidana, i just hope once lara beats canelo they can fight. thats the fight i want to see. if you are a big floyd mayweather jr fan and love the "sweet science", then how can you not like this fight. its a boxing purist dream with two master technicians. they say they love to watch a floyd boxing lesson, but call lara boring and no fans. WTF!

anyways, the maidana fight will be easier then RG, and canelo. maidana isnt even quick on his feet to get inside and land jabs to the body like robert and canelo could. the man will look like hes in quicksand with two cinder blocks tied to his shoes.

I predicted this ****,sigged it back in december when chino beat broner, this is easy money for mayweathere...i dontvthink its a mismatch, like the gatti fight but maidana maybe wins 2 rounds at the most...i hope all the ww take note cuz the 2 roads that lead to money may are broner, and quite possibly still andre berto.....

Guerrero was a legit fight as well. But he'd beaten Aydin and Berto at 147.

Maidana's beaten Soto Karass, who beat Berto. Lopez who beat Ortiz. And Broner who was a 3 weight champ who beat Paulie.

                    Maidana's beaten better opponents.

Maidana's non-stop pursuit of the KO might lead to a sharp counter from Floyd which hurts him. Floyd hits harder when he has all of your momentum + the full force of his punch landing as well.
