Do you know that Broner had just moved up from 130 to 135 like a year ago? You do know that Paulie gave Broner lots of problems in his first fight at 147? If Paulie had any kind of power, Broner would have lost to Paulie!

Did Maidana need to avenge his loss to Devon? Khan? NO! So all it took was to beat Broner. So for YOU, beating Broner made this fight credible.

maidana has won 4 straight at welter and has the title no one else at welter was much better at this time the only other guy he could of fought was porter or Garcia, porter might put up a good fight but I doubt it

When Manny had a title and a longer winning streak against much better opponents, who did Floyd fight? Yet, Ortiz got the fight with Floyd after 1 fight, Guerrero 2 fights, Marquez 0 fights, Hatton 1 fight ...... So, it's just an excuse.

Who are those gems that he beat? Maidana lost to Devon, had huge problem against Morales and lost to Khan. Why didn't Floyd tell Maidana to avenge his losses before getting a fight with Floyd like he told Manny Pacquiao?

Look, all I want is to have him fight the best possible opponent out there. Floyd has 2 titles. While there are better names at 147 (Manny, Bradley.... ) but Floyd could have fought a better opponent at 154 now and 147 in September.

yes I agree khan and maidana both are poor choices, the fans shouldn't of settled for those 2 but people where so happy for maidana beating broner it made him popular for the moment so there will be plenty of people happy with this fight though there will be more that will hate it, Bradley and pac are with top rank and are the only 2 threats left at 147, the only threat at 154 I see for Floyd is lara like many have already said but lara cant get big fight for nothing nobody wants to fight him

Great for Maidana!!!! He truly deserves the fight. But it's kinda odd. If Floyd is all about "Business", wouldn't a Mayweather Khan fight produce more revenue considering the UK fan base?

What i'm getting at is, do you think Floyd feels more threaded by Khan considering his style. Maybe not wining but at least making him look worst then Maidana?
