Well we knew it was one of the two, I enjoy watching both fighters but both are easy fights for Floyd on paper. Khan would've presented a more compelling puzzle over 12 rounds. I was actually hoping Floyd would finally face a boxer this time around so we can see what's really left in the tank and I really hope this doesnt turn into another guerrero/alavarez 12 round snooze fest. Gotta feel for khan a little bit though even if he a bonafide ******.

Well yeah, the options are slim.

Maidana's one of the top guys in Mayweather's weight class and out of the options availble there's not many better IMO.

Thurman and obviously Garica I would have preferred.

no way..IF Maidana is even landing 110, then he must have thrown over 800-900 punches.

eh somewhere around 100 for me is my call. doesnt mean hes ever going to hurt mayweather. look at canelo, im pretty sure it says he landed over 100. most of them weak shots, jabs to the body etc. i think maidana will look like canelo in their fight.

I hope Mayweather knows and is prepared for what he's getting himself into because unlike Canelo Alvarez, Maidana punches very hard, often and he is bringing it non-stop. It's going take more than just a clinch and a potshot or two to keep El Chino off of him. He is going to have to fight. Good Luck!
