you've never seen the fight, have you?Nice try. I like how you tried to sneak that in your post but no.
Just no.
Mayweather's face after the fight is proof that he lost. Castillo nailed PBF with flush overhand rights to the chin. Outworked him and had more power in his punches. Slap yourself. "It was a close fight."

Okay then, wiseguy. What is your scorecard for Mayweather-Castillo? Specifically, what rounds?Comment

Best post in the thread. Women lie men lie numbers don't. Maidana is the hardest puncher FLoyd has fought in ages.its rare and the closest thing around welter is actually 7 miles south at 140 with lucas matthysse. no doubt he packs 1 punch KO power as he has stopped several guys for the first time in their careers that were solid pros like ajose, soto, and peterson. thurman is knocking everyone out not named zaveck and if he were able to get some devastating stoppages against some name guys he has the potential to be in the conversation. I can't see Maidana completely rendering Floyd unconcious with a shot which is what he would need to win. He is capable of hurting Floyd though if one of those big shots happens to land. Here is a fun stat
KO Ratio:
Marcos Maidana 81%
Miguel Cotto 73%
Saul Alvarez 68%
Shane Mosley 67%
ODLH 66%
Victor Ortiz 61%
So it seems the arguements Canelo & Shane are bigger punchers than Ortiz have some merit. Still can't argue with the numbers Maidana has the highest KO ratio of any recent Floyd opponentsComment

You're bias. Look at your sig. You and deranged should go watch Mayweather-Castillo together and rationalize how Mayweather won.
PBF clearly got outworked, his punches weren't doing s*** to Castillo who had more power at 135 at the time. Mayweather didn't work his way up to the weight properly. He adjusted to 135 later on. He thought he could just go up in weight like nothing. He learned a valuable lesson that day: You have to move up weight classes carefully. He didn't even test out the weight class with a tuneup fight. I like Mayweather, but JLC was unquestionably the better man that night.Last edited by punchr; 02-23-2014, 08:24 PM.Comment

I haven't watched the fight in years and I never wrote down which rounds I gave who, so I couldn't tell you. I normally don't like to do that because it takes the fun out of watching a fight. Judging a fight closely can be tedious.
From what I recall, I had Floyd by a **** hair, but the score was a bit strange because of the point deductions.
I'll watch it again some day and make a note of it. Diary this for a month and get back to me.Comment

I haven't seem one anti-Maidana poster back up his opinion with facts. They're just talking out of their ass and believing that Mayweather is invisible.
No man is immune to an overhand right. Overhand rights are bad for your health.
Have an ice cold e-beer, friend.
